Alex Megos on Bibliographie, 5.15d

 

Alex Megos, on what it took to do the first ascent of Bibliographie, 9c (5.15d), the world’s second of the grade. The route runs beside Biographie—the worlds’s first consensus 9a+ (5.15a), and is 35 meters (115 feet). Megos worked on the climb for three years and put in at least 60 days of effort into it.
