Five Americans Advance To Semis In Chamonix World Cup; Few Qualified-Olympians Participate

The Chamonix Lead World Cup began early this morning, July 12. Five Americans will advance to semis: Natalia Grossman, Ashima Shiraishi, Sean Bailey, Ross Fulkerson and Ellis Ernsberger. The semifinal round begins at 11:30 MDT.

With the Olympics beginning in three weeks, very few qualified olympians  participated. Big names like Adam Ondra and Janja Garnbret were missing from the roster, and no US qualified Olympians were present.
