Swiss climber Nina Caprez experiments with choreography for a new project called Extreme Body.

“It’s a fusion of people playing in the vertical, who are not afraid of falling…;-),” she told Gym Climber. The project involves seven acrobats, plus a highliner and Caprez, and is directed by Rachid Ouramdane. “I feel so lucky having the opportunity to express myself in a totally different context and to work with those incredible artists,” Caprez wrote on Instagram.

Caprez herself is no stranger to verticality. Her first mountaineering experience happened at age 13. Since then, she’s placed in the top 10 on the World Cup stage, has climbed 4,000 meter peaks, and has made a name for herself for her difficult multipitch ascents, including the 1,640-foot Orbayu (5.14b), in the Spanish Picos de Europa.

Happy Friday!
