Six-time US National Speed Champion John Brosler practices his jumps and coordination at the USA Training Center.

Brosler has been speed climbing for nine years. He’s a multiple-time Pan-American Champion, the U.S. record holder, and a current member of the U.S. Overall Team. He’s currently training for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Although a Speed-specialist, Brosler still enjoys training the other disciplines. “For me, I’m bouldering because I think it’s fun and it helps me relax mentally,” he told Gym Climber. “It’s also a different way to improve your coordination on the wall, which is generally a good thing to have anyway.”

Happy Friday everyone!
