E.R. doc and climber Jeff Yoo battles it out on The Perfect Cave (V11), Squamish, British Columbia.
Yoo started climbing while in medical school. What started as a casual de-stresser ballooned into a lifetime passion. Yoo has now been at it for over a decade.
“ … Climbing has not only given me a local community of amazing people from all walks of life, but it has also taken me across the world to pursue my vertical passion and to connect with inspiring people that I otherwise never would have crossed paths with,” he wrote on La Sportiva.
While his proudest achievement is first and foremost his ability to serve his community as an E.R. doc, Yoo is also proud of a few impressive ticks: The Black Council (V11) and The Reckoning (V10) in Squamish, BC.
“I hope to encourage and inspire climbers who discovered the sport as an adult while juggling various responsibilities,” he wrote.
