10-year-old Théo Blass on what it took to become the youngest climber to put down a 5.14b.

On June 10, Théo redpointed Souvenirs du Pic (8c), Saint Guilhem le Desertin, France. The previous record age for the grade was 11, by Ashima Shiraishi, Brooke Raboutou, Adam Ondra and Illya Bakhmet-Smolensky. Not only did Blass set a new low, he skipped 5.14a to make it happen.
