US Gains Three Medals From Paraclimbing World Championships

The 2021 Paraclimbing World Championships just finished in Moscow, Russia. 114 athletes participated across 13 categories.

Categories included blind 1-3 (with 1 indicating lower functionality and 3 being the highest, demarcated B), amputees (both lower and upper, demarcated AU or AL), and limited reach and power 1-3 (again, with 1 indicating lower functionality and 3 being the highest, demarcated RP). From the US, Brian Zarzuela placed second in Men’s AU-2, Tanner Cislaw placed second in Men’s RP1, and Benjamin Mayforth placed second in Men’s RP2.
